This release unites two rare vinyl LPs from the late 1970s both featuring sax supremo and Skatalite founder member Tommy McCook. 'Blazing Horns' was produced by Vivian 'Yabby You' Jackson and features McCook over a selection of choice Yabby roots rhythms. Also in this package is the impossibly rare 'white label' pressing featuring Sir Tommy blowing over some classic Glen Brown rhythms. With the addition of the Bunny Lee produced 12" of 'Riding West', this is a feast for lovers of reggae saxophone and roots rhythms. |
