Alpha Boys School Radio and Alpha Boys School (now called Alpha Institute) launched the first online Reggae Auction which offers worldwide reggae and Jamaican cultural experiences. 100% of proceeds supporting the educational and vocational training program at Alpha, a non profit school in Kingston, Jamaica best known for its music program. The auction ends Feb 28.

Items up for bid include 3 nights at Goldeneye Resort (US$400), custom recording by Grammy-Winner Sean Paul for your voicemail greeting (US$100), a dubplate from Ken Boothe (US$120), Dinner for 2 at Rudies in London (US$50) and many more...

Founded in 1880, and operated by the Religious Sisters of Mercy, a catholic order of nuns since 1890, 150 students are currently receiving academic, vocational and social support. Trade training focuses on music, landscaping, screenprinting, barbering and woodwork. Past music students include a Grammy nominee and pioneers in jazz, ska and reggae. Alpha's bottom line relies on public and private funding.
