NIce list RG.

For a start, I would take out Starky Banton, Tappa Zukie, and Lone Ranger and replace with Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and Busy Signal.

Great video - I would also find a place for Alcapone - at the expense of Nicodemus - though I must admit I'm not familiar with a lot of Nicodemus's work.

I think the three I've mentioned (Beenie, Bounty and Busy) all have original styles and have shown great versatility and longevity. It's been nearly fifteen years now since Busy broke through.

Shaggy would be the most obvious contender, but there are others.

And no way should Lone Ranger be dropped! What about Ranking Joe?

i was never a big fan of Jah Thomas but it's nice to be proved wrong every once in a while: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElWFvdYMGe8

I'd swap Yellowman for Professor Nuts because, as well as his talent and rich voice, he took things to another level internationally.

Professor Nuts is a legend! Very clever and funny lyrics while mixing himself down. If Yellowman wasn't an albino would he have been so popular?

I take your point about the Profesor and I know he is very popular with a Jamaican audience, but Yelllow is a legend too and the acknowledged 'King of the Dancehall'.
